Screw making machine is used to produce variety of screws. It is mainly composed of cold heading machine and thread rolling machine, for self-drilling screws, self-drilling machine is also required.
The cold heading machine is used to cut raw material wire according to screw length and form the screw head, thread rolling machine is used to roll thread on blank shank of screw after being cold-headed and self-drilling machine is used to make the special screw tip.
For normal screw production, the working process is as follow: Raw material >> Cold heading >> Thread rolling >> Screw; For self-drilling screw, it will be: Raw material >> Cold heading >> Thread rolling >> Self-drilling >> Screw.
The cold heading machine, thread rolling machine and self-drilling machine all can be used to manufacture different size screws by changing mould.
