The production of copper single wire is a problem that all cable manufacturers are very concerned about, because the quality and efficiency of wire drawing directly affects the progress of the manufacturer's subsequent processes, and plays an important role in the quality of the cable.
1. Control of the deviation of the outer diameter of the product
Due to the uninterrupted production of copper wire drawing equipment, the drawing speed will gradually be out of sync with the annealing, which will cause the wire diameter to be discontinuous and irregular due to the speed of the drawing speed. The reasons for this phenomenon are as follows:
1). The tension on the storage wheel is unstable. There may be many places where the air pressure is used in the production workshop, which will cause the air pressure of the air pump of the wire drawing machine to be large and small, which also makes the tension of the wire storage device not constant. The tensile force received is also not constant, which can cause the deviation of the monofilament outer diameter to be uncontrollable.
2). The copper wire flutters on the annealing wheel. This allows the copper wire to be annealed when it is loose and tight, the current density of the annealing is large and small, and the strength of the copper wire at a higher speed is relatively low, so it is easy to cause the copper wire to fire on the annealing wheel To make the surface of the copper wire uneven due to the effect of sparks.
3). Wear caused by long-term use of the main motor gearbox. This can make the speed of the fixed-speed wheel of the wire drawing not match the traction speed and the take-up speed, thereby forming the thinning of the monofilament.
2. The surface of the monofilament drawn by the wire drawing machine has different degrees of oxidation. This problem may have the following causes:
1). The temperature of the cooling water in the sealed chamber is too high, exceeding 40 ℃, so that the sealed chamber does not provide the required cooling effect on the monofilament, resulting in the monofilament temperature is still very high after annealing, high temperature encountered in the air Oxygen and oxidize.
2). The content of the saponification liquid of the cooling liquid in the sealed chamber is not enough, which will increase the friction force between the monofilament and each guide wheel, and then the monofilament temperature will rise again, causing the monofilament surface to oxidize.
3). The water pressure and water volume of the cooling water in the sealed chamber are insufficient, so that the monofilament cannot achieve a satisfactory cooling effect.
3. Frequent wire breakage often occurs in wire drawing production. This situation is mainly caused by the following factors:
1). In the continuous production of the drawing die, the sizing area of the drawing die will become larger due to normal wear and tear.
2). Due to the quality of various rods. In the production process, the rod material irregularly appeared quality defects, which caused the monofilament to be broken by various unpredictable tensions during the drawing deformation. This situation rarely occurs when the rod material is good.
3). Because the annealing current is not constant during production, the current is suddenly high, and the filament is broken or melted due to a sudden strong current during the annealing process.
